My article in the Globe and Mail: Canadians now have a lower opinion of their own government's commitment to public integrity than do Pakistanis, Iraqis, or Nigerians... Parliamentarians are the watchdogs of democracy, and it is tragic that so many citizens perceive our watchdogs as having muted their bark, muzzled their bite, and been neutered by the very powers they were meant to hold at bay.
