Joshua was then able to feed orally without complications, but any other form of feeding (IV or otherwise) continued to be denied. We helped by organizing legal and medical support and a media response to his case throughout North America.A couple of days ago, Joshua had a seizure. He is now in a semi-coma state and unable to feed orally.More >>> This is not even a criminal negligence. That's an outright murder.
So, a Cabinet minister (Bev Oda) announces that the Canadian government is now open to funding abortion under its G8 maternal health plan. And on the same day (or very close to it,) there is a new poll released, according to which the Conservatives and the Liberals not only run neck in neck, but the Liberals are actually likely to win more seats in spite of having slightly fewer votes. We've seen that before, just 4 months ago or so. After standing up to those demanding more tax funds for abortion (and leading in the polls,) the party tried to soften its stance - and slipped to virtual party with the Liberals. They managed to reverse the trend, once the signs of economic recovery became visible, but apparently they haven't learned their lesson. Again, they are trying to pander to the left, in a pathetic attempt to boost their support. Do they believe the left-leaning moderates may eventually let go of the "scary, cold, out of touch Harper" image and vote Conservative? Do they believe

3 Vote(s)

Obviously, he'd heard about them before, including the much often repeated claim that their 19 homeschooled kids are "captives in their own home". And indeed, he didn't see posters of vampires and celebrities in their room. However, he figured out that while not familiar with the so called "popular culture", the Duggar children are still much better off than their peers: While, admittedly, I admire the Duggars for much of what they do, I didn't expect what I saw in these 3 girls. Using the books that are available in any public library, she proves that life begins at conception and that the unborn are human. She then goes through the arguments of the pro-abort side and rebuts them one by one. "Is it possible to be a human and not a person?", Lia asks in conclusion. That's the question which the pro-abort side is so anxious to avoid.
If you want to know the source and summit of what the problem is in the Catholic Church today, it can be succinctly summarized with this situation in Britain:…In one conversation, McLeod said, Archbishop Nichols gave away what she believes to be the driving interest of the Catholic bishops in their tacit support of the homosexualist movement's agenda. "They've been brainwashed into believing that is the only way to go. Nichols has said this to me, ‘We must have unity at all price. If I speak out against it, there'll be disunity among the bishops, and we can't have that'."But she said this is to place unity above the truth. "Unity is their great graven idol. I can't judge their hearts, but I wonder what they're thinking."She said that the only solution she sees now is prayer and support for a new generation of good young priests who support the Church's teaching. "The Lord has a solution, and the good young priests are probably that. They're beginning to get parishes."….(So

3 Vote(s)

Just yesterday it was all hope and change and returning power to the people. But the people have proved so disappointing. Their recalcitrance has, in only 19 months, turned the predicted liberal ascendancy into a full retreat. Ah, the people, the little people, the small-town people, the "bitter" people, as Barack Obama in an unguarded moment once memorably called them, clinging "to guns or religion or" - this part is less remembered - "antipathy toward people who aren't like them."That's a polite way of saying: clinging to bigotry. And promiscuous charges of bigotry are precisely how our current rulers and their vast media auxiliary react to an obstreperous citizenry that insists on incorrect thinking.- Resistance to the vast expansion of government power, intrusiveness and debt, as represented by the tea party movement? The jihadi apologists are being allowed deep into our government and bureaucracy. No sooner did news of the Ottawa Terror Plot unfold on national TV, than one could predict the response of Canada's Islamists and their organizations.Across Canada, apologists of the terror suspects repeated the same mantra. The three men arrested were portrayed as "innocent" and the wider Muslim community was positioned as the real victims of the episode. It was as if the Islamist leadership had dusted off the speaking notes from the days of the Toronto 18 trials when leader after leader stood up to claim the young men arrested were framed, not real terrorists. As Muslim Canadians, both of us, while asking for the due judicial process to take its course, had no hesitation in condemning the rising tide of jihadi radicalism that is sweeping like a c

4 Vote(s)

Now it's a hybrid of the centre and the hard right, - he claims in his Globe and Mail article. Hard right? Now, that is ridiculous. Here is a brief rebuttal from Suzanne: Is there an abortion ban yet? Has the deficit been paid down and the CBC been sold? No?Then it's hardly a party of the hard right. Suzanne is perfectly right about that. If anything I doubt if we even have a political "right" (or even a "center-right") in Canada. Let's take a look at this example: Here's a warning for bogus Tamil refugees made by the Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, just before she called an election last month:"Do not pay a people smuggler, do not risk your life, only to arrive in Australian waters and find that you are far, far more likely than anything else to be quickly sent home by plane."Gillard does more than just talk tough to Tamil gatecrashe

3 Vote(s)
